Pen y Pass is the starting point for the PyG Track and Miners Path up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon).
Located in the village of Llanberis, is parking for Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) with easy to access shuttle buses which run every regularly up to Pen y Pass.
If you’re travelling from Betws y Coed direction we recommend parking at the Nant Peris car Park which also has easy to access shuttle buses which run frequently up to Pen y Pass.
Standard parking rate (whole day) - Llanberis: £5.00 (may vary depending on choice of car park)
Shuttle bus: Snowdon Sherpa Day ticket £5 (adult)/ £2.50(child) (Contactless payment accepted)
Parking Options for Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa)
If this is your first time hiking up Snowdon we recommend the Llanberis Path which starts in the village of Llanberis or alternatively from Pen y Pass we recommend going up the PyG track and returning via the Miners Path.
