A wealth of fascinating historical sites and outstanding medieval castles

Wales has some of the best examples of medieval castles in the world, and many are found here in Eryri, including castles built by Welsh princes as well as castles of English kings.

In addition to castles, there are several other stunning historical sites ranging from medieval abbeys to sites of national cultural importance.
