Set up to help support and strengthen local networks, stimulate action and respond to the skills needs of groups and individuals working around climate change and carbon reduction in Wales, the latest set of successful Community Action for Climate Change Network events are due to take place on/at:
11/6/2010 Llandudno
14/6/2010 Llandinam
23/6/2010 Newport
24/6/2010 Carmarthen
Each event will offer speakers from successful local and UK wide projects on Food, Energy, Transport and other related areas, followed by open space networking and skill development sessions in areas such as project management, financial planning, presenting your organisation, writing funding applications, engaging groups and much else.

The Network events are organised by the Welsh Assembly Government supported by key partners including Cynnal Cymru-Sustain Wales, WCVA and Science Shops Wales.
June’s Network events will be followed by a Wales wide gathering of communities on 22/23 November in Llangollen to celebrate and network community action for climate change across Wales.
At the November event, champions of sustainability will be honoured as the Wales Green List 2010 is revealed. The Wales Green List is a celebration of sustainable development in action. Organised by Cynnal Cymru–Sustain Wales, the Green List highlights individuals taking action to improve the environmental, economic and social wellbeing of their communities.
