Saturday, 7 August 2010: Guided Geology Walk, Cwm Idwal
Location: Cwm Idwal. Meet at Ogwen Cottage car park.
Time: 10.00am for 5hr walk (approx.)
Details: Guided by local geologist Neil Hamilton Williams, this geological walk concentrates on the tectonic and volcanic evolution of Snowdonia. Experienced walkers only. Appropriate footwear and clothing required.

Tuesday, 10 August 2010: Cwm Idwal's Flora, a Guided Walk
Location: Cwm Idwal. Meet at Ogwen Cottage car park.

Location: Blaen y Nant farm, Nant Ffrancon valley

Details: A tour of wildlife-friendly Blaen y Nant farm and nature trail, set in the stunning Nant Ffrancon valley - led by farmer Gwyn Thomas. Appropriate footwear and clothing required. Park in the yard of Blaen y Nant - situated on the west bank of the Ogwen, accessible by the back road off the A5.
