Eryri Affordable Housing Delivery Statement

Snowdonia National Park Authority is committed to securing the delivery of affordable housing to meet local needs. In line with guidance from the Welsh Assembly Government the Authority has set out its target for affordable housing, its interim planning policy for decision making on planning applications for affordable housing and an explanation of how it will work with other organisations to bring forward the supply of affordable housing to meet local needs, in a new style plan to be known as an Affordable Housing Delivery Statement. The Authority has adopted a partnership approach in preparing this statement which has been developed in conjunction with Gwynedd and Conwy Local Housing Authorities.

The Affordable Housing Delivery Statement will ensure that the Authority is fully equipped to deliver affordable housing through the planning system during the period leading up to the adoption of the proposed Eryri Local Development Plan, anticipated towards the end of 2010.
